Many say there is absolutely no evidence of God. This perspective is generally held by those that have already concluded that there is no God (atheists).

One of the fundamental Biblical attributes of God is that God is eternal.  The opening statement of the Bible is “In the beginning God”.  This statement depicts God as having already been in the beginning.

When Moses was petitioning the release of the Israelites, God told Moses to identify Himself as the “I Am”.

Jesus later identified Himself as the “Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End”.

This “eternal attribute” of God is essential if God is tangibly the Creator.  This perspective also indicates that God is not bound within the Physical Universe as we are.  Therefore, to understand the Bible and God clearly, we must allow God’s eternal attributes, liberty.

Getting back to the beginning, Science has invested a great deal of time and money to determine what the first thing is, and they have been able to chase the beginning to a singularity, a moment called the “big-bang”, when everything came into existence. It is important to note that had Scientists discovered that the Physical Universe did not appear to have a beginning, then the opening sentence of the Bible would be refuted.  So the Universe does appear to have, in fact, a beginning.

The logic goes like this, since something does not come from nothing, then something has to have always been (eternal).  The question for Science then should be not if there is an eternal reality, but what is the eternal reality?  An eternal imperative is self-evident.  Also, because the Physical Universe appears to have an origin, then the Eternal Imperative is most likely, extra-dimensional.

This, of course, is in complete harmony with the Bible.  The Judeo Christian God is the “invisible God”.

Science must limit their field of study to the Physical Reality, truth that can be measured and manipulated.  Science can make the mistake of believing that all truth is confined to the Physical Reality, and this is certainly not true. Theology addresses an Extra-Dimensional Reality, the Eternal Reality.

Many Atheists mock the idea of an Extra-Dimensional reality, however, when pressed with the above facts, their silence exemplifies that physical proof falls eternally short of an answer.

In conclusion, an Eternal Imperative is self-evident and if Science is correct about the “big-bang”, then the Eternal Imperative has to be Extra-Dimensional. All of this is in perfect harmony with the Biblical Account.

The following response is from Erik Cave an editor and writer for "Ask The Atheist": “Today the best answer for how something can come from nothing comes from Lawrence M. Krauss who is an American theoretical physicist and cosmologist and who is the Foundation Professor of the School of Earth and Space Exploration and director of Arizona State University’s Origins Project.”

Another site-writer (Rohit) from "Ask The Atheist" adds: “Krauss speculates, like a number of physicists, that the energy of the universe is likely zero. Since energy and mass are the same (as Einstein showed) and the total energy of the universe is zero, it looks like the universe is … well … nothing (!) – or that at-least it came out of nothing.”

If science proves that the Universe “came out of nothing”, then this is great news for Bible believers. The implications are that an extra-dimensional, eternal imperative (God) must be responsible for the creation of the universe.

Many may say: Ok you have proven the need for an Eternal Reality, but can you prove that the Biblical account of creation happened in six days, while Scientist say 16 billion years?

We are blessed above all generations, because we live in a day of enlightenment.  Albert Einstein enlightened mankind about “time” and contingencies that impact time.

In his historic formula: e = mc squared,  he essentially noted that "time" delineates with gravitational force and velocity of mass.

So, a massive planet with a higher gravitational force will cause time to slow vs. a low gravitational planet will cause time to accelerate.

When Scientists date the Universe, they do so from our current space-time continuum.  However, time is not static, the passing of moments at the beginning of creation were astronomically different than time in the present.

Dr. Gerald Schroeder has postulated the effects of velocity and gravity at the moment of the “big bang” forward, and he claims that the first 24 hours from and “eye witness” perspective would be 8 billion years from our current space/time continuum.

Dr. Schroeder claims that he has done the math and it incredibly matches the scientific aging of the Universe.  As always, there are skeptics; but no one doubts that time would astronomically slow at the moment of creation.

What most scientists cannot fathom is that there could have been an eyewitness account.  The Extra-Dimensional Eternal Imperative would, in fact, be an eyewitness.  The Bible records the Divine account of creation. If the Bible recorded billions of years, we would all feel good about the Bible, however, this would prove that God was not an eyewitness of His own creation.  Because the Bible records the days of creation, it verifies that God, the Eternal Imperative, authored the Genesis account of creation.

What about Adam and Eve populating the Earth, and where did Cain’s wife come from?

In 1987, while studying mitochondrial DNA, scientists claimed that a common ancestor to us all may have been discovered, a woman who lived in Africa 200,000 years ago.  While much discussion has followed, no one is arguing that mankind came from a common ancestry.

So while some may question that the first man was made from dust, they do not argue that there was, in fact, a first “Eve” and a first man, which the Hebrew word for “man” is "Adam".

So, we have proven the need for an eternal reality, we have proven that an eyewitness account of creation would speak in terms of days, not years, and that all of mankind did, in fact, come from a common ancestry.

So, where did Cain’s wife come from?  We don’t know the answer to that question. Some speculate that Cain clearly married his sister. Whatever the answer, it is a question that science equally has hanging over its head as well. It is no longer only a theological question.
