How is Christ fully man and fully God?  How did Christ “create everything that has been created” before His physical birth?  How can we be part of the “Body of Christ” and the “Bride of Christ” at the same time?  How is God, the Son, distinct from God, the Father, and God, the Holy Spirit?  Why “three yet one” instead of just one?

When Jesus Christ became flesh, His flesh was fully man, human.  He was not some superman nor was He superhuman.  Jesus Christ was fully divine in the Spirit.  Jesus Christ was sinless, because He never once walked according to His own will. He was always connected to God, the Father, through the Holy Spirit.  A connection fixed by the cord of “faith”.

God is a relational God, and the divine foundational relationship is God, the Father’s, relationship with God, the Holy Spirit, and the outcome of that relationship.  The outcome (or fruit) is Jesus Christ.  So, when one becomes a child of God’s, they become part of the body intended for the fulfillment of God, the Father’s perfect will.

Jesus Christ always wants what God, the Father, and the Holy Spirit want for Him.  When we truly want what Jesus Christ wants for us (thus the Bride), we vicariously want what God, the Father, and the Holy Spirit want for us (thus the Body).

Jesus Christ is the divine work; He is the fulfilled will of God, the Father. The Holy Spirit births His divine work.  This is why the Bible correctly identifies Jesus as the divine creator.  And in the same way, we were created for the purpose of becoming God’s divine outcomes.  We are to be the miracles of God.

So, God is three operationally, yet relationally one in essence.

If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end; if you look for comfort you will not get either comfort or truth only soft soap and wishful thinking to begin, and in the end, despair. --C. S. Lewis
